Photographic Montage

    These multilayered pieces are derived from my photographs of cities and nature: while numerous shots are of manmade materials, my passion is for the natural world. The latest photos of sky, stream, foliage and flower have been taken in Northern California's mountains: my technique of merging photos of glass, steel, sheet metal etc with my nature shots has wrought a personal style I call "Photographic Montage".
    Through melding disparate photographs I strive to make meaningful visual statements about the triumph of nature: if the composition is deemed beautiful as well, my intent is fully realized.
